Kennis music releases statement concerning Goldie's death

The president of Kennis music, Keke Ogungbe, last night released the following statement:
“With a deep sense of loss, we announce the shocking death of our darling music star, Goldie Harvey. Goldie, 31, died on Thursday after she complained of a severe headache shortly after her arrival from the United States where she went to witness the Grammy Award.

Keshi gets stadium named after him

Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta state has named the Asaba stadium after Stephen Keshi. In addition to this, he was also given the sum of N8 million and a house in the state capital. This was given to him during a reception held for the national team at the Asaba international event centre. Members of his coaching team as well as the players were also rewarded handsomely. Daniel Amokachi, Sylvanus Okpalla, and Ike Shorunmu received N4m each. Each player got N2.5m each, while old and present players of Warri Wolves such as, Sunday Mba, Chigozie Agbim, Azuibike Egweke and Brown Ideye got N5m each.

Woman gives birth the same day she discovers that she is pregnant

A woman named Linda Ackley, living in Michigan, gave birth to a healthy 10-pound girl last friday. She found out that she was pregnant the day she delivered her baby. She thought she couldn’t bear children after an infection and abdominal surgery two years ago.

Emenike ruled out of AFCON finals
