Nigerians to watch AFCON finals on local TV stations

The Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria, BON, has confirmed that Nigerians will have the opportunity to watch the finals of the AFCON 2013 between Nigeria and Burkina Faso on local television stations.
This is possible after BON struck a deal with the confederation of African Football and Broadcast rights owners of the African cup of Nations, AFCON 2013. It was initially not possible for the AFCON matches to be broadcast on local TV stations because television broadcasters in Nigeria refused to pay the sum of N1.4 Billion that was demanded by the french company, LC2, that had bought the rights to the tournament from CAF.
