Keshi gets stadium named after him

Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta state has named the Asaba stadium after Stephen Keshi. In addition to this, he was also given the sum of N8 million and a house in the state capital. This was given to him during a reception held for the national team at the Asaba international event centre. Members of his coaching team as well as the players were also rewarded handsomely. Daniel Amokachi, Sylvanus Okpalla, and Ike Shorunmu received N4m each. Each player got N2.5m each, while old and present players of Warri Wolves such as, Sunday Mba, Chigozie Agbim, Azuibike Egweke and Brown Ideye got N5m each.

Keshi withdraws his resignation

It has been just a few hours since Keshi's surprise resignation as head coach of the super eagles. He has however reconsidered and released a statement which states
